Update:
Bo's surgery was a complete success! His eyesight has been fully restored! The doctors told him if this was 15 years ago, he would be blind but with advances in technology, his vision was corrected. Bo's doctor hasn't released him yet or given him the ok to travel but we are hoping that will happen by July 22. We'll keep everyone updated! Thanks for all the well wishes & prayers! xoxo
Dear Pizza Lovers,
Our location at 873 S. Rainbow is now closed. A few months ago, Bo's eyesight started failing--fast. After exploring our options, we decided to put the LV business up for sale. Fortunately for us, two young men made us a very generous offer--we just couldn't refuse! They will be making some rennovations in June and will be opening their food establishment in July.
Although it broke our hearts to close so abruptly because we didn't like keeping mum to our loyal & beloved customers, we had to refrain from announcing anything since two prior deals fell through. We didn't want to jump the gun so to speak. If we felt we could have stayed open during Bo's 6 week recovery, believe us, we would have but unfortunately, neither one of us felt confident that the quality & the service would remain the same in our absence.
We know this is not the news you want to hear about your favorite pizza shop but the good news is that Bo's condition is correctible with surgery. He will need a lengthy recovery. His doctor is confident he will be his old self by mid-July. Yeah!
Before the sale went through, a local bar near Chinatown purchased our recipes & they will be serving our menu items to their patrons starting this summer (will announce when they are ready). Also, an out of state franchise(s) may open by year end/spring 2011.
Kindly understand that this situation is only temporary, and we appreciate your patience. We thank you for your love & support.
Sincerely,
Mannie & Bo
